Our Story

Some people call us the dynamic duo. Well, maybe we only call ourselves that. The brains behind our operation is Aaron Kampe, a native Bermudian and biologist at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After reading through loads of scientific research, and being stung himself when he was young, he put together a formula for treating jellyfish and man-of-war stings in the (now known as Sting Away). An interior designer by trade, my art school background taught me graphic design and the basics of business management. With no business experience whatsoever, we launched our humble endeavor in 2012 with an initial investment of only a few hundred bucks. He had the ideas for formulations, and I turned them into reality with product design. We initially sold on our own websites and expanded into professional sellers on Amazon.
